Background and Bio

I grew up in a military family and traveled much of my young life, but I am now glad to call Charlottesville home. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012 with majors in Foreign Affairs and History. I teach and tutor ESL with the International Rescue Committee. I am an avid songwriter and guitarist with my band YonderPhonics. In addition to performing with my band in town, you may see me performing at a local singer/songwriter night. When I am not working with your student or connecting with the community, I like writing, hiking, and cheering on our National Championship-winning Hoos.
